Ocean Monument

Introduction

The Ocean Monument is a structure west of Lekar, in the deep lukewarm ocean biome. It is one of Lekar's Battle Areas.

History

The monument was once home to Elder Guardians, but they have since disappeared. The water was then removed from the inside, and it has been transformed into a tourist attraction that can be explored on foot, with ladders and catwalks connecting the chambers. A railway station was built into the foundation of the structure, complete with a Pokémon Center, info booth, ocean floor diving experience, and restaurant. It has since become a popular tourist destination, with adventurers and trainers frequenting the area. Most trainers specialise in Water-type Pokémon, and are typically between levels 40-50. Wild Pokémon do not usually spawn in the structure itself. In the top chamber of the mansion resides Hoenn Champion Wallace.

Behind the Scenes

The music that plays inside the monument includes the themes from various locations in Pokémon games, including Oceanic Museum, Abandoned Ship, the Dive theme (all RSE), and the Abyssal Ruins (BW).
